Lifestyle is a major retail brand in India that has its outlets across the country. Operating in the country since 1999, Lifestyle is a part of the Dubai-based retail and hospitality conglomerate, the Landmark Group.[1]
The brand offers a selection of products from several national and international brands. Product categories at Lifestyle stores consist of Indian and western apparels, footwear, handbags, beauty products and fashion accessories for men, women and children.
Having adopting world-class business and people practices, Lifestyle International has been ranked 10th on the list of Best Companies to Work for in 2015.[2]

Lifestyle started its operations in India in 1999 and has come to be acknowledged as one of the leading retail brands in the country. Each Lifestyle brings together multiple concepts under one roof – Apparel, Footwear, Children’s Wear and Beauty & Accessories.[3]

- Melange, a fusion Indian ethnic wear label by the Lifestyle Stores in India, has Kangana Ranaut as its brand ambassador.[7][8]
- Code, a menswear brand by Lifestyle consists of formal wear as well as casual ensembles for men.[9]
- Forca, a menswear by Lifestyle, comprises of trendy ensembles which are wardrobe essentials for 18- 23 year olds. The denim wear brand is being endorsed by Tiger Shroff.[10]
Loyalty Program
Landmark Group has a cardless loyalty program called the ‘Landmark Rewards’ which allows members to earn points and spend them at all the Landmark Group’s stores in India.[11] Customers can enroll for free in the rewards program using their mobile number and avail personalized offers, exclusive store promotions, sale previews, birthday bonus points and out-of-store offers at Lifestyle, Max, Home Centre, Spar Hypermarket, Splash, Melange, Krispy Kreme and Fun City.[12]
Employee Welfare
Lifestyle International, since 2015, offers flexi working hours to its Corporate employees and provides medical facilities to its front-end staff. Zumba and yoga classes have also been introduced in the workspace to help employee reduce stress.
- ‘LIFE’, which stands for Learn - Implement - Fastrack – Expert and ‘LEAP’ (for Landmark Education), are two in-house programs that provide technical and soft skills to the front-end employees. These programs also enable them to get a degree in retail management.[13]
- Landmark Development Program,and Fast Mover Development Program are instituted as part of performance appraisal to facilitate improved performance of employees.
- Landmark Group has a number of employee appreciation programs,including the Lifestyle People Oscar Awards, Clash of Icons, and Make a Difference. Incentives and Long Service awards are given periodically to deserving employees.
- Corporate Theatre, an informal learning technique, is being used to educate, entertain and engage employees.[14]
Corporate Social Responsibility
Spreading awareness about diabetes, Landmark Group has held multiple editions of the ‘Beat Diabetes’ campaign that involves setting up of free glucose screening test counters at Lifestyle and other stores under the brand.
