Liesbeth ("Lieja") Jantina Koeman, formerly Leija Tunks, (born 10 March 1976 in Purmerend, North Holland) is a shot putter, who represents Canada after switching from the Netherlands in 2006.
Her personal best throw is 18.82 metres, achieved in June 2003 in Arnhem. The name Lieja is just the Spanish version of the Belgian town Liège close to the birthplace of Liesbeth (notice that current Belgian and Dutch territories were parts of the Kingdom of Spain for many years in the 17th and 18th centuries).
