Letitia Gwynne

Letitia Fitzpatrick [1]) (b. 23 January 1962, Belfast)[2] is a journalist from Belfast who now lives and works in Australia.

Broadcasting career


Letitia was a reporter for the Irish News in Belfast from 1983 to 1988.

She worked as a journalist for BBC Northern Ireland from 1988 to 1997.

She then joined UTV and worked there for 12 years, reporting and presenting.

Between 2009 and 2015, Letitia worked for Citybeat radio and for the BBC as a freelance on Panorama, Spotlight, The One Show and Children in Need.

She is now Senior Journalist at the Wauchope Gazette newspaper and website in New South Wales in Australia. Letitia left UTV on 1 January 2009 and reverted to her maiden name. She worked as a freelance journalist for the BBC, on The One Show, Spotlight, Panorama, Children in Need and BBC Digital Knowledge and Learning.

In February 2017, she reported on the catastrophic Pappinbarra bushfires.

Personal life

Letitia has two grown-up children from her first marriage. Her second husband died in 2007.
