Leptospermum sericeum, commonly known as the silver tea tree, is a member of the Myrtaceae family endemic to Western Australia.[1]

The spreading shrub typically grows to a height of 0.5 to 3 metres (2 to 10 ft). It blooms between May and October producing pink flowers.[1]

It is found on hills and among granite outcrops in the hills around Mundaring and in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia near Esperance where it grows in skeletal sandy soils.[1]
