Lenta is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Turin and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 968 and an area of 19.0 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi).[1]
Lenta borders the following municipalities: Carpignano Sesia, Gattinara, Ghemme, Ghislarengo, and Rovasenda.
