Legia Warsaw Reserve Team

The Legia Warszawa Reserve Team currently plays in the III liga (Poland).

The history

For the first time was founded in the 1920s, after the World War II in 1948.

In 1952, the reserve team of Legia Warsaw reached the final of the Polish Cup beating: Lechia II Zielona Góra (6:2), Naprzód Lipiny (2:1), ŁKS Łódź (7:1), Górnik Zabrze (2:1), Ruch Chorzów (2:1) and Wisła Kraków (0:0 and 1:0). In the final Legia lost 0:1 against Polonia Warsaw.
