Leem Lubany is a palestinian[2][3] actress best known for role of Nadia in Hany Abu-Assad's film Omar.

Early life and education

Lubany, born in Nazareth, Israel, was a senior at Harduf Waldorf School when she made her professional film debut in Omar.[4]

Career

Lubany made her debut in Omar, despite having no acting training.[4] The film made the 86th Academy Awards's shortlist for Best Foreign Language Film.[5]

In 2014, Leem Lubany appeared in A to B, a film by Ali Mostafa[6] and played the role of Salima in Bill Murray’s comedy Rock the Kasbah.[7]
