Lee Ethel Stecklein (born April 23, 1994) is an American ice hockey player and member of the United States women's national ice hockey team who was named to the 2014 Winter Olympics roster. She plays college hockey for the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's ice hockey program.
Stecklein is from Roseville, Minnesota and graduated from Roseville Area High School.[1] Stecklein was selected second overall by the Buffalo Beauts in the 2016 NWHL Draft.[2]
Playing career
NCAA
Stecklein played in all 41 games of her freshman season (2012–2013) at Minnesota, tallying 3 goals and 9 assists.[1]
USA Hockey
Stecklein was a member of the gold medal teams at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship and 2013 edition of the 4 Nations Cup.[3]
