Lee Ae Jung (Korean: 이애정; March 17, 1987 – September 6, 2007), also romanized as Yi Ae Jeong, was a South Korean actress.
Biography
Career
She started her career as a child actress while she was still in elementary school,[1] and in 6th grade appeared in Little Prince (1999) which is usually said to be her debut.[2] She rose to prominence for her role in Autumn Fairy Tale (2000).
Death
Lee diagnosed of a brain tumor in July 2006, while she was in her first semester at Hanyang University. She had visited the clinic for her headache only to find the disease. Afterward she underwent surgery two times at Seoul National University Hospital.[3] Lee died on September 6, 2007 at the age of 20 at a countryside hospital where she spent her last days.[2]
