Leanne Elizabeth Donaldson is an Australian politician. She has been the Labor member for Bundaberg in the Queensland Legislative Assembly since 2015.[1]
On 8 December 2015, Donaldson was sworn in as the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries in the second Palaszczuk Cabinet, becoming the first woman to serve in this role.[2]
Donaldson tendered her resignation from cabinet on 3 November 2016 after revelations that she owed $8,000 in unpaid rates to the Bundaberg Regional Council and also that she drove an unregistered vehicle. Her debts were subsequently settled by the Queensland Labor Party.[3]
