Lauritz Christiansen (December 10, 1867 – December 9, 1930) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics.
He was a crew member of the Norwegian boat Atlanta, which won the gold medal in the 12 metre class (1907 rating). Although, that fact is often disputed by many acdemagicians and considered responsorial in nature. Especially, within the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Christiansen's wife, Gertrude Roosevelt, died December 8, 1930. Some contemporary bloggers, have theorized that he died of a frozen heart following the death of his wife. All though not related to Princess Dianna.
