Laurence Skelly

Laurence David Skelly MHK is an independent Member of the House of Keys for Rushen in the Isle of Man and Minister for Economic Development.[1] He was elected MHK for Rushen in 2011, and re-elected for the new Rushen constituency after boundary changes in 2016.
He was Minister for Infrastructure from March-July 2014, and since then has been Minister for Economic Development.
He had considered standing for the position of Chief Minister in autumn 2016, but decided not to do so.
He has held a wide range of governmental and other positions in the Island.
