Langrial (لنگر يا ل) is one of the union councils of Kharian Tehsil, Gujrat District in the Punjab province of Pakistan.[1] Langrial is situated on both side of Kotla Arab Ali Khan-old Gulyna road, which goes from Kotla Arab Ali Khan to Gulyna. Langrial is 2 km away from Kotla Arab Ali Khan. This town was founded in 1478 by Ratan Langrial[2] who came from Multan.

Road Towards Ladiyan

Many people from Langrial are settled abroad in various countries like USA, Canada, Europe, UAE, Saudi Arabia and have financially helped their families. The famous politicians are ch Mohsin langrial current chairmen and 'Ch. M. Siddique ex and Ch. Muhammad afzal Langrial ex who has been elected twice as Nazim Union council and have contributed a lot in the development of the area.

The headquarters of the Union Council is Langrial village. Langrial is a quite large village of Gujrat District. It is located at 32° 50' 0" North, 74° 2' 0" East[3] and lies almost midway between Bhimber, Azad Kashmir and Gujrat.

Bangial village, Mandhar, Bhandgran, Kalu Chak, Rathory, Sheikhpur, Ladian, Sriya and Golara are the villages of Union Council Langrial.

The village got its name from the Langrial tribe of Jats.

This school is the one and only private sector school where almost all the children from Langrial come to study. And a lot of these students become Engineers, Doctors, teaches, etc.

Sports:

* Football: They have a Football team named FC LANGRIAL. Their captain and their best player Ali Hannan help them a lot to archive most important victories. They reached the finals in Flood night Kotla Arab Ali Khan and in Sarsala tournament. And won 2 tournaments in Sarria. In these few years they become best team in District Gujrat.

* Volleyball: Volleyball is the game most played in Langrial. They have 3 teams in total in which Mian Irshad known as Waju Langrial team is the most famous.

* Actors Usama Javed And Waseem Anwar is the owner of Facebook page Oye Banda Ban And Also A Famous Actors * Journalist And Media Persons Ch Javed Langrial Was The First Journalist in Langrial And He Published The First News Paper from Kotla Arab Ali khan that Name Was Kotla Arab Ali Khan And His Son Muhammad Usama Javed Is the Student of Mass Communication And Media in UOG
