The Lamprophiidae are a family of snakes[1] found in Africa, Asia, America, and Europe.
Classification
Lamprophiids were traditionally considered as members of the subfamily Lamprophiinae in the family Colubridae. The following classification is from Pyron et al., 2010.[2]
