Lalruatthara (7 January 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League.
Career
Early career
Lalruatthara was born in Mizoram. His career began in 2010 with Chandigarh Football Academy. He has won Subroto Cup with Mizoram in U17 category.
Luangmual FC
After winning Santosh Trophy with Mizoram, Lalruatthara earned his first professional contract with I-League 2nd Division club Luangmual.
Chanmari FC
Lalruatthara joined Chanmari in 2013. On 2 April 2013, he signed another professional contract, agreeing to a two-year deal.
Aizawl FC
Lalruatthara signed for newly promoted I-League side, Aizawl, from Chanmari before the 2015–16 season.[1] He made his professional debut for the side on 9 January 2016 against Mohun Bagan. He played the full match and earned a yellow card as Aizawl lost 3–1.[2]
Delhi Dynamos (loan)
On 11 August 2016, Delhi Dynamos has announced that Lalruatthara is signed with them on loan from Aizawl FC
Kerala Blasters FC
On 23 July 2017, Kerala Blasters FC has signed Lalruatthara as their second pick in 2017–18 ISL Players Draft.
International
Ruatthara has been called for India camp for match against Kyrgyzstan in 2019 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. In July 2017, he was selected in final India U23 squad which travelled to Qatar to play 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification.
