Lajpat Nagar (Hindi: लाजपत नगर) is a Delhi Metro station in Delhi. It is located between Jangpura and Moolchand on the Violet Line in Lajpat Nagar. The station was opened with the first section of the Line on 3 October 2010, in time for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on the same day.[1] It will be an upcoming interchange station with the under construction pink line scheduled to open by December 2016. The upcoming station will be underground.
