"La religieuse" (meaning "The Nun") is a single by Celine Dion released in France in 1987.[1] A music video was released for the song.
The lyrics describe a nun's struggle between her faith and memories of lovers. The song incorporates the pipe organs frequently used in Catholic churches.
The B-side included song called "C'est pour toi." A slightly different album version was featured on Dion's 1988 compilation The Best of Celine Dion. The single version was included on several later compilations.
"La Religieuse" was never released in Canada.
