L.Sasikala Pushpa is member of the Parliament of India representing Tamil Nadu in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of parliament.[1] She was mayor of Thoothukudi Municipal Corporation from 2011 to 2014.
She was expelled from AIADMK party on 1 August 2016 for slapping DMK MP Tiruchi Siva at Delhi IGI airport.[2][3]
