Plot

In Pietrammare: Sicilian town, is to be elected the new mayor: the candidates are the former mayor, mafia man hated by the community, and a mild professor who wants to finally bring honesty in the country. Salvatore and Valentino are the relatives of the last candidate who wins the elections, and begins to implement his program of legality. However this program to "civilize" the citizens who are exasperates, with fines for various infractions, and taxes in addition, including Salvo and Valentino, who see close their bars because it is abusive. So the two organize a plan to defame the mayor, in order to start up a parliamentary inquiry, and that the mayor is forced to resign.

Reception

The film was number-one in Italy on its opening weekend, with US$3.48 million.[2]
