Randell "Kydd" Jones is an American hiphop/R&B artist from Austin, Texas.[1][2][3]

Career

Jones performed at NXNE[4] and The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival[5] in 2014 as well as Red Bull Sound Select shows with Danny Brown[6] & Yung Lean[7] while producing for Kirko Bangz on Progression V.[8] During 2015, he released two singles: Patience[9] and Blink Away[10] with Sean Price; he also performed alongside Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber[11] for the Billboard Hot 100 Fest at Jones Beach Theater.[12] After being personally picked by Chuck D to open for The Hip Hop Gods Tour in Los Angeles at The Novo (formerly Club Nokia),[13] Kydd opened for The Art Of Rap Fest with Public Enemy, Ice-T, Naughty By Nature, Mobb Deep & EPMD at the Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta during 2016.[14] He released Sounds In My Head 2: The Righteous Edition later that year with features from Skyzoo,[15] Yelawolf,[16] Pac Div,[17] A.Dd+,[18] Cory Kendrix, GLC, Max Frost & Tank Washington.[19] In 2017, Kydd dropped two singles entitled Dripped Up[20] and W.R.U.[21]
