Kurli is a village which is to the south of Pulivendula in Talupula mandal of Anantapur district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.

History
Kurli was governed by a feudal lord, Kurli Ramalinga Reddy, who hailed from Pulivendula region. He controlled the feudatory of Kurli and neighboring villages. He was the magistrate of Kurli village during the British rule and post- Indian Independence. He was known to be a popular, pious, and powerful leader in Rayalaseema and had great respect from the people of this region. He was known as people's leader. Kurli has a historical fort that is known to have been built by the family of Kuril Ramalinga Reddy. The feudal family in this village belongs to the Reddy caste and have the surname 'Kurli' and 'Tarimela' gothram. The families roots have spread to the whole of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
