Kryptonesticus is a spider genus in the family Nesticidae.[1] Its species are found in Europe, though one species—Kryptonesticus eremita— has been introduced to New Zealand.[2] Excepting K. eremita, Kryptonesticus species have very restricted ranges.[3]
Seven of its eight species—the exception being type species Kryptonesticus deelemanae—were transferred from Nesticus.[3]
