Meri Kristiina Mäkelä (born 20 November 1992) is a Finnish athlete whose specialty is the triple jump.[1] She competed at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing narrowly missing the final.
Her personal bests in the event are 14.24 m. outdoors (-0.2 m/s, 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and 14.20 m. indoors (Botnia Games 2015 & 2016, Mustasaari, Finland). The latter is the current national record.
