Komorczyn [kɔˈmɔrt͡ʂɨn] (German: Kummerzin) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south-west of Kobylnica, 14 km (9 mi) south-west of Słupsk, and 116 km (72 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration by the Potsdam Agreement under territorial changes demanded by the Soviet Union. Germans fled or were expelled and replaced with Poles expelled from the Polish areas annexed by the Soviet Union.
