Knock Knock’s initial product launch consisted of 13 items, including the Personal Library Kit, a product that remains in Knock Knock’s catalog today. Annually, the Knock Knock in-house team creates nearly 300 products, including its line of bestselling notepads, sticky notes, Fill in the Love® Journals, Inner-Truth™ Journals, and humorous nonfiction gift books. Knock Knock's tagline is "Say something more®".

Knock Knock’s all-time bestseller, the All Out Of grocery list pad

Knock Knock’s mission is to “bring humor, creativity, and smarts to everyday life.”[2] Their products and books are known for their irreverence,[3] whimsy, and wit, and according to the New York Times, balance “novelty with utility."[4] According to the Wall Street Journal, “A key to Knock Knock’s success is that there are real uses for the products.”[5]

In 2007, Knock Knock began publishing humorous nonfiction[6] including the bestselling title How to Traumatize Your Children: 7 Proven Methods to Help You Screw Up Your Kids Deliberately and with Skill.
