King's Highway is a future commuter rail station on the MBTA Commuter Rail, located in New Bedford, Massachusetts.[2] It is being built as part of the state's effort to extend rail service to New Bedford. The site of the planned station is on tracks used by the former New Bedford and Taunton Railroad. The former station closed on June 30 1959 with the rest of the Old Colony division of the NYNH&HRR

Station layout

The station is planned to consist of a single high-level side platform to serve the single track. The project plans on having parking available at the station to accommodate commuters who will drive to the station.[3]
