"Kind & Generous" is a song by Natalie Merchant and the first single from her second solo album, Ophelia.
Music video
The music video made for this song features Natalie as part of a travelling circus and taking on many guises. The circus performers were actual performers from the local area and the little girl was the daughter of the proprietor/showperson. The music video was filmed in one day in a meadow near where the circus was performing. This is noticeable as the music video begins at dawn and ends at dusk.[1]
