Killen Station

Killen Station is a 618 MW dual-fuel power generating facility located east of Wrightsville, Ohio in Adams County, Ohio. The power plant has two units, one coal-fired and one oil-fired. The plant was built by Dayton Power & Light (DP&L) and became operational in 1982.[1] In January 2017, DP&L announced plans to close Killen Station in an agreement with the Sierra Club and several unnamed parties. The closure is planned for mid-2018.[2]
