The Kiev Suvorov Military School (KvSVU) (Russian:Киевское суворовское военное училище) is one of the Suvorov Military Schools in the former USSR former military cadets.
History
It was founded in 1943 as the Kharkov Suvorov Military School. It was located on Lenin Square in Kharkov, Ukraine. On July 1, 1947, the school was relocated from the Kharkov to Kiev where it was renamed the Kiev Suvorov MIlitary School. In 1992, by the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on August 19, 1992, the Ivan Bohun Military High School was established on the basis of the Kiev Suvorov Military School.[1][2]
