Khalid Askri (born 20 March 1981, Missour, Morocco) is a Moroccan football goalkeeper who plays for Raja Casablanca. He played for FAR Rabat for over 12 years.
Controversies
During the Moroccan Throne Cup semi-finals of 2009, Askri conceded a penalty kick goal when he celebrated immediately after making a diving save, however the resulting spin from his "save" caused the ball to travel backwards into the goal.[1]
During another match a few weeks later, Askri tried to control a simple ball on the edge of his box, but an opposition player slid in to take the ball off his feet and put it into the goal, resulting in Askri to run off the pitch in embarrassment.
