Kentucky Route 3172 (KY 3172) is a rural secondary east–west state highway in South Central Kentucky. The 2.918 miles (4.696 km)-long route traverses far eastern Logan and southwestern Warren counties. The route also bears the secondary names of Shaker Museum Drive and Old Russellville Road.
Route description
KY 3172 follows an old alignment of the concurrently running US 68/KY 80 from South Union to Petros, beginning with a junction with KY 73 and ending with the intersection with KY 240 about 0.3 miles (0.48 km) after crossing the Warren County line.[2]
KY 3172 provides travelers access to the Shaker Museum at South Union.[3] That attraction is one of two Shaker-related points of interests in Kentucky, the other being the Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, along US 68 in eastern Mercer County.
