Kentucky Route 2861 (KY 2861) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The route is located entirely in Shelby County and is 6.593 miles (10.610 km) long.
Route description
The route originates at a junction with KY 148 in Olive Branch and travels northward for nearly 5 miles in rural sections of Shelby County before crossing over Interstate 64. 1 mile north of I-64 the route crosses over Clear Creek and enters a residential section of Shelbyville and later a business corridor. 0.9 miles north of Clear Creek KY 2861 reaches its northern terminus at US 60/KY 55 Business, also known as Midland Trail.
