Kentucky Route 271 (KY 271) is a 4.6-mile-long (7.4 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The highway travels through rural areas of Hancock County.
Route description
KY 271 begins at an intersection with KY 1389 southwest of Hawesville, within Hancock County. It travels to the north-northwest and curves to the north-northeast. It curves to the east-southeast and intersects the western terminus of KY 1847 (Park Road). The highway heads to the north-northwest and curves to the northeast. It passes Hancock County High School and meets its northern terminus, an intersection with U.S. Route 60 (US 60). Here, the roadway continues as KY 6103.[1]
