US career

Ken Roczen won the Monster Energy Supercross 250 West Championship in 2013 and moved up to a 450cc class in 2014 riding for Red Bull KTM Racing. Ken started the 2014 SX strong by holding off James Stewart Jr. for the win at Anaheim I, the season opener. He also won at round 5 in Atlanta's Georgia Dome. Roczen finished 3rd in the points standings after the final at Las Vegas. Roczen had an amazing 2014 Lucas Oil Pro MX Series. After losing to Ryan Dungey at Glen Helen, he came right back and won the next overall in Hangtown, going 1-1, stealing the points lead from Dungey, and held the points lead for the duration of the championship. From the round 7 Red Bud National forward, the championship was between Roczen and Dungey with Roczen clinching the championship at the Round 12, Zions Bank Utah National. In August shortly after the 2014 MX season, Roczen signed with RCH Suzuki for 2015. He failed to repeat as Pro Motocross champion for 2015 surrendering his #1 plate to Ryan Dungey.
