Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer received "generally favorable reviews" on all platforms except the Game Boy Advance version, which received "average" reviews, according to video game review aggregator Metacritic.[1][2][3][4][5] In Japan, where the PlayStation 2 version was ported and published by Capcom on May 27, 2004, Famitsu gave it a score of two sevens, one six, and one seven for a total of 27 out of 40.[7]
