Katsuhiko Yokomitsu

Katsuhiko Yokomitsu (横光克彦, Yokomitsu Katsuhiko, born November 4, 1943) is a Japanese actor and former politician of the Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Usa, Ōita and graduate of the University of Kitakyushu, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1993 as an independent. He later joined the Social Democratic Party and then DPJ. After retiring from politics, he returned to the entertainment industry.
