Katica Illényi (Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈkɒtit͡sɒ ˈilːeːɲi]) is a Hungarian violinist. She plays in several musical genres, including folk music, klezmer and Manouche jazz.[1] She has classical training.[1]
Biography
Illényi comes from a musical family. She began learning the violin with her father, Ferenc Illényi, who played in the orchestra of the Hungarian State Opera.[1]
