Much of her work has focused on human rights and social justice issues, including Late Tuesday, a film by New Zealand-born director and cinematographer Jenna Eriksen that sought to expose the prevalence of sexual violence against young women;[5] the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Shakespeare Benefit in New York City, the anti-bullying number of Really Don't Care at the Teen Choice Awards 2014 opposite Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd;[6] aerial performances in One Billion Rising by Eve Ensler, the largest mass action in history to combat violence against women, opposite award-winning actress Mercy Malick;[7] and an appearance in the PSA 'One In A Million', directed and co-written by Emmy Award winner Suzanne Luna and produced by Emmy Award nominee Johanna Stein, which aimed to raise awareness about domestic violence and abuse.[8]
She was instrumental in launching the Stella Adler Outreach Program, led by Tommy Demenkoff, for teenagers in addiction recovery at the Phoenix House Academy of Los Angeles in 2015,[9][10] and has been recognized as an Australian artist of exceptional talent by the Ian Potter Cultural Trust.[11]
