Kate Kelton is a Canadian artist, model and actress, notable for her recurring role on Syfy's Haven as Jordan McKee from 2012 to 2013, appearing in 14 episodes. Her first series leading role on television was opposite Eric Roberts and Eddie Izzard, as Martine, in IFC's Bullet in the Face. She first discovered acting during her final year of film school. She had her big-screen debut during the Toronto International Film Festival in The Republic of Love, which was directed by Deepa Mehta. Her film credits include Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and American Psycho II: All American Girl, opposite William Shatner. Kate has appeared in several indie films and TV guest spots including: Detention which starred Josh Hutchinson; Suitemates opposite Kevin Pollak; Wild Card with Joely Fisher; Cake with Heather Graham; Occasionally, opposite Kids In The Hall’s Dave Foley; and Ham & Cheese, with Jason Jones and Samantha Bee.

She was known as the “Tic Tac Girl” for television advertisements selling Tic Tac mints for almost a decade throughout Canada, Australia, South Africa and Israel. She appeared in the charity video “Love All Humans” alongside musician/composer Gingger Shankar, and guitarist Anthony Gallo. She has starred in numerous music videos, including Shaggy’sIt Wasn’t Me” and Eric Clapton’s “Can’t Let You Do It,” off of his latest album, "I Still Do".

Kelton was born in Bamberg, Germany. Her Czech parents had escaped to Germany where she was born in the south. Her mom is an artist and her adopted father an architect. She is the great-granddaughter of Czech starchitect, Josef Fanta. Settling in Toronto when she was seven, she attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts and received a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Film at Ryerson University. She began her career as an artist before moving into the genre of acting.[1]

Her artwork is exhibited internationally, including at La Luz de Jesus Gallery and Gallery1988 in Los Angeles and New York, Galerie F in Chicago and The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Canada. She has posed for artist Jason Shawn Alexander in the lead role of Corrine for his comic book series, Empty Zone. She has also been asked to pose for artist Deirdre Sullivan-Beeman’s epic painting, “The Queen of Pentacles,” for the Hive Gallery’s Tarot Show, and for some charcoal sketches for artist Kate Zambrano. She is a contributing author to 'Making It in High Heels: Inspiring Stories by Women for Women of All Ages.'
