Kasthamandap Development Bank Limited
Kasthamandap Development Bank Limited is established under the Bank and Financial Institution Act, 2063 in Kathmandu Municipality of Kathmandu district as a national level development bank. The working area of the bank as per the guidelines of the Central Bank, will be whole Nepal. The bank will thus, be effortive in performing its banking activities and other commercial and economical activities.
Kasthamandap Development Bank Ltd has been in operation in Nepal since 2007/10/25 A.D. It was registered as private sector promoted public limited company operation with paid up capital of NRs 320 million. The main promoter of this development bank has 70% shares and 30% of shares owned by Nepalese public. KDBL enjoys the status of Nepalese private sector promoted development bank currently operating in Nepal.
KDBL has its head office at Pako New Road, Kathmandu. This development bank has 19 branches (including head office) and 10 ATMs scattered in different places in the country. This development bank covers 11 districts of Nepal. The districts covered are Baglung, Chitwan, Gulmi, Kaski, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Morang, Myagdi, Parbat, Rupandehi and Solukhumbu respectively.
The bank went to the acquisition with Kumari Bank Limited and the name of the name is Kumari Bank Limited.
