Jammu & Kashmir Human Rights Commission
The Jammu & Kashmir Human Rights Commission is an autonomous state body with quasi-judicial powers tasked to investigate any violation of human rights in the northern state of Jammu & Kashmir in India.[1]
The body was constituted in January 1997[2] by the National Conference government[1] under the Protection of Human Rights Act.[3]
