Karunamoy Goswami (11 March 1942 – 30 June 2017)[1] was a Bangladeshi musicologist and litterateur.[2] He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2012 by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to fine arts.[3] He is known as a Nazrul Geeti exponent.[4]

Education and career

Goswami completed his Ph.D. on the topic "Bangla Kabyo-geetir Dharaye Kazi Nazrul Islam-er Sthan" from the University of Dhaka in 1988.[4] Goswami died on 30 June 2017, aged 75.[5]
