Karchów [ˈkarxuf] (German: Karchwitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pawłowiczki, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Pawłowiczki, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 45 km (28 mi) south of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
