Karachar Nevian

Karachar Nevian or Karachar Nuian was the atalıq, or Minister of Genghis Khan during his minority, and chief of the noble family of Barlas.[1]

Genghis Khan is said to have left Karachar Nevian as Prime Minister to his son Chagatai Khan, who, on his part, at is death also committed to that able politician the execution of his will and the care of his children. From Karachar, Timur is said to have been the fifth descendent.[1]
