Kami Rita Sherpa
Kami Rita Sherpa is a Nepali guide of the Sherpa people that works for the mountaineering firm Alpine Ascents[1][2] In 2017 he achieved his 21st ascent of Mount Everest, one of only three people in world summit this number of times, which is the greatest number of summitings in the world.[3][4]
Kami was 47 at the time of his 21st summit in 2017, and was the third person to achieve this number along with Apa Sherpa and Phurba Tashi Sherpa.[5][6][7]
About names
There is another Kami Rita Sherpa who works on Everest, and had his 16th summit in 2017 with Adventure Consultants.[8]
