Kallur is a village in Chittoor district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Pulicherla mandal.[1][2]
Etymology
The word Kallur is a combination of two Tamil words Kal+Ur which means Village of Stones in Tamil language. This place is important for its granite stones. In ancient days, this region was part of Tamil country of Thondai.
