Kaela Davis (born March 15, 1995) is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She played college basketball for Georgia Tech before transferring to University of South Carolina coached by Dawn Staley.

Professional career

After helping lead South Carolina to the NCAA Championship, Davis opted to enter the 2017 WNBA Draft.[1] By entering, she would forego her final season of college eligibility. She was drafted 10th overall by the Dallas Wings placing her in the city where she won a national title two weeks prior. In her lone season at South Carolina, she averaged 12.8ppg & 3.9rpg.

Personal life

Kaela Davis is the daughter of Antonio & Kendra Davis. Antonio is retired NBA veteran who played the majority of his 13-year career for the Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors. Kaela has a twin brother, A.J., that plays for UCF. While at South Carolina, she majored in integrated technology.
