KZOZ is a radio station located in San Luis Obispo, California, broadcasting on 93.3 FM. KZOZ airs a mainstream rock music format.

The station plays a mixture of classic rock from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, and current top rock hits. They claim having the largest rock library on the Central Coast.

Their shows include Jeff & Jeremy in the morning - a local morning show in the style of major syndicated shows, but with more music in between acts. Another main show on the station is the Lunchtime Rewind hosted by Joe Alvino which plays music from a different year each day, ranging from the mid 1960s to the mid 1990s. At 5 p.m. KZOZ's "LIVE@5" playing live versions of songs for the drive home. 6 p.m. boasts "Get the Led Out" where they play three Led Zeppelin songs back to back, both 5pm & 6pm shows hosted by Suzanne. Weeknights from 7 to Midnight catch Big Dog, rock'in harder tunes. During the 11 o'clock hour every Friday night DJ Joe Alvino hosts the "Friday Night Floyd Fix" where he plays an entire hour of Pink Floyd songs. On the weekends you can tune in with Kyle rocking the morning and early afternoons playing top rock hits along with the classics.

History

Around 1975 KZOZ was known as "KZOZ Stereo 93" and was located at 341 Higuera St in San Luis Obispo. Through much of the 1980s, this was a top 40 station known as "Z93."
