KNNZ ("89.1 Ken's FM") is a radio station owned by Pioneer Public Broadcasting, licensed to Hawley, Minnesota and serving the Fargo–Moorhead area. The station is located in Fargo, North Dakota, while its transmitter is located at Barnesville, Minnesota.
Ken's FM plays modern rock & local music of North Dakota & Minnesota. It began life as a pirate radio station, known on-air as Modern Rock 94.5, airing from 2000 to 2009. On April 22, 2010, Ken's FM was granted a construction permit to build a 300-ft transmitter, and on December 31, 2012, 89.1 Ken's FM officially signed on the air.
