KKBA is an Active Rock formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Kingsville, Texas, serving Corpus Christi, Alice, and Kingsville in Texas.[2] KKBA is locally owned and operated by Malkan Interactive Communications.[4][5]

History

On September 4, 2015, KKBA switched from a Rhythmic Adult Contemporary format to Active Rock as "Rock 92-7".[6] Malkan added the San Antonio-based "Billy Madison Show" to mornings.[6]

As of early 2016, Rock 92-7 has 9,746 likes on Facebook[7] and 507 Twitter followers.[8] In addition to the Billy Madison Show, hosted by Billy Madison and Derek Allgood, other on-air personalities at Rock 92-7 include Jon B and Clarissa Serna.[9]

Affiliated radio stations include KEYS-FM and KZFM-FM.[10]

Rock 92-7 merchandise from the Rock Shop online include trucker and beanie hats selling for $15.[11]
